Race Across Ile de France highlights the best cycling spot in the Paris region. Composed of 12 million inhabitants, 8 departments of many domains and benefiting from a geographical location that favours sports activities.
The base camp used as a place of departure and arrival is located in the Yvelines. Recently renovated to encourage cycling and only 40 kilometres from Paris, you can take a breath of fresh air in the Regional Nature Parks and various areas such as Rambouillet. The Rambouillet forest is a real green lung at the gateway to the capital.
The Ile-de-France region enjoys a temperate climate, moderated by oceanic influences. The average temperature is 11°C and the precipitation
It is sometimes possible that a rainy day slips in here and there. So be prepared to deal with a wide variety of conditions. We strongly recommend that you bring warm equipment for the descent and it is always a good idea to prepare for cooler weather and/or rain.
- There is no registration for the day of the event.
- No refund of registration fees.
- Events will take place regardless of the weather.
- End of registration: June 22, 2019
The 500 km format, which is just as difficult, is reserved for long-distance enthusiasts who want to refine their preparation but also for those who want to exceed their limits and test themselves over a long distance.
The route will largely be common with the 300 KM and you will have an additional loop to enjoy a little more of this green nature.
It is also an excellent warm-up for runners and crews who plan to do RACE ACROSS FRANCE in the following year.
